Hi there. My name is MaSh and if you see me on the site, chances are it will be for a music, book, or film review. I enjoy reading and writing and coupled with my love of music it makes sense that I write about the things I like. This would make me a guest on City In The Clouds, although I do have my own site Northern Labs should you be interested.
Things I like
Like I said before, I’m really into my music. I’m quite open and have diverse tastes, but I do generally prefer rock music such as (in no particular order); Linkin Park, +44, Paramore, Green Day, LostAlone, KoRn, Sonata Arctica, Fall Out Boy, Nightwish, Evanescence, 12 Stones, Ash, White Stripes, Fightstar, Blink 182, Switchfoot, The Ataris, Goo Goo Dolls, Within Temptation, Lacuna Coil, Good Charlotte, Vertical Horizon, Garbage, Foo Fighters, Seether, I could go on all day but you get the picture. Some other bands and artists I like (but don’t usually admit to) are Genesis & Phil Collins, Daft Punk, David Gray, Counting Crows, The Cardigans, The Beach Boys, Texas, Queen, The Wreckers and I’m even man enough to admit I like Christina Aguilera. The toughness is oozing out of me from every orifice now though.
Aside from the music above, I enjoy horror films, books and reading in general, I love my junk food like burgers and chips and the like as long as it’s not from McDonalds. I’m into the usual guy stuff like fat cars, computers and technology, just not as much as some people are. I like being eccentric and English and all the stereotypes that come with it. I mean, are there any countries which roll cheese down a massive hill and risk life and limb trying to catch it? Exactly, we rule. I like going on walks in the country or hills so there will be loads of photo’s on my Flickr page.
And things I don’t like
There are only a couple of things which I get annoyed at, and I don’t want to rant so I’ve kept reasons short and simple. McDonalds (produces inedible food using inhumane treatment of animals), myspace.com and to a degree, Facebook (this is just me personally not having or seeing a use in social networking), the Daily Mail (prints things that simply aren’t true and/or lies, and prints articles which persuade instead of inform), Apple and iPod’s (iPods are just fashion accessories nowadays, the iPhone doesn’t work, and Macs like all Apple products are overpriced, Global Warming (another lie by the government) and people who walk slowly and/or just stop walking suddenly, causing a pile up.
Well, that’s about it. If you want to know more or get in touch check out my site and drop me a line through the usual channels.
